Kamal Haasan was born on 7th November 1954. He was born in Paramakudi, Chennai. He was born to D. Srinivasan and Rajalakshmi. Haasan was the youngest among the siblings. His brothers are Chaaru Haasan and Chandra Haasan. Chaaru Haasan is a National Award-winning actor, who appeared in the noted Kannada film, Tabarana Kathe. Chandra Haasan is the executive of Kamal Haasan's production company, Rajkamal International.
Kamal was immensely interested in classical dance. He set his foot in the industry at a early age of 6. He was seen as a child artist in Kalathur Kannamma (1960). He then joined a drama troupe of ‘Avvai Shanmugam’. Here his career shaped up as an artist. He gathered enormous experience with fields like Dance, assistant direction and story writing.
Balachander introduced him in the movie Arangetram (1973). Kamal Haasan has played variety of roles in his movies. A villain, hero, psycho path, etc… are the few examples of the roles that he played. In Apoorva Raagangal (1975) he played a role in which the character falls in love with an elder woman. This movie gave him a huge break. He co-starred with the legends of industry. The likes of Sivaji Ganesan and M. G. Ramachandran. His portrayal of the protagonist in the movie Moondram Pirai (1982) won him huge accolades. He was noted for his performance in Nayagan (1987). His movie Apoorva Sahodarargal (1989) saw him play duel roles.
In Telugu he was noted for his role in Sagara Sangamam (1983), Maro Charitha (1978). He also set foot in Hindi with hits like Ek Duje Ke Liye (1981). This personality is a wholesome load of talent.
