Surya Sivakumar, the ‘Ghajini’ Star is equally popular both in Telugu and Tamil Cinema. He was born in Coimbatore on 23-07-1975. He is the son of Tamil actor Sivakumar. He studied at St. Bede’s and then Loyola College, Chennai. His is married to Jyothika, who is also a well-known actress.

He was a sales executive before acting in films. His first film ‘Nerrukku Ner’ in 1997 was a big hit. ‘Friends’ brought him first noticeable success. Surya won the filmfare for ‘Nandha,’ ‘Aayitha Ezhuthu’ and ‘Perazhagan’. Some of popular movies are ‘Ghajini’, ‘Kaakha Kaakha,’ ‘Vel,’ and ‘Pithamagan,’ ‘Ghajini’ was the most sensational of all.
