Synopsis :

Mallanna is a movie based on white collar crimes. It all begins with Mallanna (Vikram) who works in the criminal offenses wing as a CBI officer. He is vexed by the way higher officials and dignitaries have been making money by cheating civilians.

On the other hand, Mallanna temple follows a tradition where in the devotees write their wishes on a paper and stick it to the tree and it is said that the wish would come true. Thus, they (devotees) donate money to the temple as a token of devotion. Mallanna finds a gang of people who commit crimes and loot money from this place and starts punishing them severely for their bad deeds. He does all this secretly.

An inspector enters the scene and tries to find out who the person behind all the punishments is and how he finds out and solves the mystery forms rest of the story.
