The Golden Elephant - International Children's Film Festival (GE ICFF) is a biennial Children’s Film Festival held in Hyderabad. It takes place between Nov 14-20 in every odd-numbered year like 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 and so on. The 16th edition will be held in 2009.
“The Golden Elephant -16” will be held from 14 to 20 November in Hyderabad. More than 60 films from all over the world will be in race for GE ICFF awards this year. These include half-a-dozen UNESCO films.
The film festival is being organized jointly by Children’s Film Society of India and the Central and State Governments. Renowned actress Nandita Das is the chairperson of the organizing committee of this event.
