It is well known that Ram Gopal Varma, one of the top directors of Indian Cinema, is making the movie “Raktha Charitra,” based on the life of Late Paritala Ravi. The shooting of the movie is currently progressing in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

The latest news about the film is that renowned Bollywood actor and politician, Shatrughan Sinha is playing the role of N T Rama Rao, the popular Telugu film actor and founder of Telugu Desam Party. Shatrughan Sinha, who had acted with mustache throughout his film career, has removed mustache (for the first time) to give perfection to the role he is playing. This is talked as a sacrifice by ace actor to give justification to his role.

“Raktha Charitra” stars Vivek Oberoi, Surya Sivakumar and Radhika Apte in the lead roles. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Mani Sharma is scoring music. This also marks his entry into Bollywood. Madhu Mantena and Sheetal Vinod Talwar are producing the film.
