The shooting of Trisha’s Bollywood debut “Khatta Meetha” in the direction of her mentor Priyadharshan began recently in Baramati Village, which is 100 kilometres away from Pune. She has already finished her first schedule of the film. Trisha is pairing opposite hot Akshay Kumar in the flick.

Priyadharshan, the director of the film said that Trisha’s role in the film will be more challenging than the roles that have been played by other heroines in his earlier films. He added that “Khatta Meeta” is a family film with lots of scope for the actress to perform. Trisha will be playing two different roles, not a double role but two characters in different time periods.

Speaking about her first Bollywood movie , Trisha said that Bollywood films are special and that is happy to make her debut with the movie like “Khatta Meetha” which is being directed by one of the ace directors of Indian Cinema, Priyadharshan. She added that her entry into Bollywood doesn’t mean that she will give up Telugu Films. Further, she said that Tollywood film fraternity has treated her like a queen and still have two big Telugu films on floors.

She now intends to strike a balance and do both Hindi and Telugu films.
