Austrian film “Mozart in China” to be Screened First in the 16th GE ICFF

The screening of the films in the 16th Golden Elephant - International Children’s Film Festival will begin from 14th November. Screening will be done at eight different venues including Prasads Imax theatres in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
Showing of the films will begin with the Austrian film “Mozart in China.” Bernd Neuberger, the photographer-turned director directed the film. The one-and-half hour movie revolves mainly around two characters - Danny and his Austrian Chinese friend on Hainan Island of the Chinese coast.
Film Summary:
Its summer time and Danny is invited by his friend, to visit Hainan Island in China. His friend, a Chinese- Austrian boy, has his grandpa’s house over there. The two have a task ahead and that’s to save grandpa’s theater from threatening loan sharks. But Danny doesn’t know that a puppet, Mozart has started breathing and has travelled along with him in his suitcase.
As the theater restoration works gear up, grandpa and his granddaughter Lin Lin work together. In this course Mozart falls for the beautiful girl. While Mozart composes a Chinese Sonata for his love, loan sharks threaten the theater. As the kids realize that they are living with puppets that have come to life, they join forces to rescue the theater.
